REACH 2010 Details
Do you think much about water? Having instant access to pure water is something we take for granted in the United States, but much of the world suffers from disease and lack of food because they lack this access. So, Reach 2010 is all about water!
We have water projects all around the world that will make a practical difference in people’s lives and provide you opportunities to share Christ from the overflow of your life. Be involved in irrigation, education, purification, and sanitation projects designed to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of communities.
Consider being part of a team in Nairobi, Kenya; Abengourou, Ivory Coast; Turkana, Kenya; Maasai Kenya; Arusha, Tanzania; or Mexico City, Mexico. In addition to these water projects, a variety of internships are available in these and other countries, including Chile, Thailand, China, Ukraine, and Burkina Faso.

Your Internship
You don’t need any specific skills to be involved in these water projects, but to be a REACH intern, you must be a freshman in college (and beyond), be willing to raise your needed funds, and come into the experience with an open heart and a teachable spirit.
For your internship, we will:- Assist you in support raising (the cost for your internship depends on the field), contribution receipting, passport/visa procurement, travel arrangements, medical requirements, and packing.
- Provide training through a required 7-day Pre-Departure Orientation in Indianapolis for team building and developing skills in language learning, cross-cultural adaptation, relationship building, your spiritual journey, as well as any other specific pre-field training needed.
- Supply guidance/oversight on the field through veteran CMF missionaries and their partners.
- Complete your internship through a 3-day Debrief to prepare you for reentry and to process, maximize, and bring closure to your experience.
